Settings
These are the basic character settings the author compiled for personal reference.
・Main Character, Majima Takuma (真島拓真)
・Heroine, Fuyunagi Shizuku (冬柳雫)
The heroine of this story.
A beautiful, pure-looking black-haired girl.
She presents herself as someone gifted in both academics and athletics, and as a person who doesn’t judge others by appearance. In reality, though, she has menhera tendencies and a self-centered personality.
Praised as a beauty since childhood, she grew up thinking that was normal. But the protagonist’s lack of interest in her caught her attention, and as they grew closer, she ended up falling for him seriously.
The protagonist thinks, “If I ever fell for you, you’d just lose interest in me, wouldn’t you?” But every unconscious action he makes hits her right in her weak spot, and the very existence of Mashima Takuma is gradually becoming her personal fetish.
・Sado Kengo (佐渡健吾)
A boy who was Shizuku’s public boyfriend.
A handsome soccer player with a good head on his shoulders.
He has a kind personality and does not look down on others based on appearance. He is an all-around good guy.
He genuinely loves Shizuku, but after being dumped, he lost confidence in himself and became reckless until Sakurada confessed to him and encouraged him back to normal.
Since then, he has been devoted to her and supported her when she was bullied by other students.
・Katou Susumu (加藤進)
A friend of the main character.
A boy who always complains about wanting a girlfriend but is actually quite silly.
He knows that he belongs in the “background” category, so he acts more reserved around popular students.
He was forcibly dragged by Fuyunagi into the Sakurada bullying incident and made to take on the role of presenting the evidence about the ringleader during homeroom.
Because of that, Natsume Kano takes an interest in him, seeing him as someone who, despite his appearance, is surprisingly proactive and able to act efficiently. His own lazy, laid-back nature ends up reinforcing Natsume’s interest in him, in a good way.
・Natsume Kano (夏芽華乃)
Class president.
A literary-type beauty who has a quiet, devoted following but is shunned by her classmates for her serious personality.
She likes to use logic to dominate conversations and prioritizes efficiency over emotion.
This makes her an easy target of hate, which led to her being used as the scapegoat in the Sakurada bullying incident.
After the homeroom incident, she began taking interest in Katou Susumu whose lazy nature oddly complements her efficient thinking.
・Sakurada Nagisa (桜田凪咲)
Shizuku’s friend.
A classmate of both the protagonist and the heroine.
One of the gyaru in the outgoing, popular group centered around Shizuku.
She herself is a beauty capable of leading her gyaru friends, and she’s extremely popular with the boys as well.
She had romantic feelings for Sado, but since his girlfriend at the time was Fuyunagi, she kept those feelings hidden.
However, after Sado was dumped by Fuyunagi, she confessed to him, and the two became a couple. She continued to support him afterward as well.
Despite her lively, bubbly gyaru appearance, she’s surprisingly good at listening and is someone who genuinely cares about others.
She isn’t aware of it herself, but not only is she tolerant of otaku-related content, she actually takes an interest in it and responds with a smile. Because of this, a certain subset of the boys have, for some reason, exalted her as a “real-life gyaru who understands otaku,” a goddess descended into their world.
・Kashiwagi Miyo (柏木美代)
A member of the popular group.
She barely qualifies as a “beautiful girl,” and only manages to maintain that level by relying on makeup and grooming. Her looks don’t come close to truly beautiful girls like Fuyunagi, Sakurada, or Natsume.
On the surface, she calls Fuyunagi and Sakurada her “best friends,” but behind their backs, she genuinely despises them and spreads nasty rumors about them.
She’s the type who delights in whispering insults about others, stirring up fights between people she dislikes, and then smirking as she watches the chaos, a true connoisseur of schadenfreude.
She had unrequited feelings for Sado, and when he broke up with Fuyunagi, she thought it was finally her chance to date him. But upon learning that Sakurada was going to be his next girlfriend, she flew into a rage.
She roped in her friends who felt the same way and plotted the bullying of Sakurada.
・Fuyunagi Reiko (冬柳澪子)
Fuyunagi Shizuku’s mother. Currently has not appeared.
・Fuyunagi Kanemasa (冬柳兼政)
Fuyunagi Shizuku’s father. Currently has not appeared.
Character Summary (non-official)
- Majima Takuma / Taku (真島 拓真 / タク) — Taku is an utterly average high school boy in both appearance and ability. His hair and uniform are always neat but unremarkable, giving him the classic “background character” characteristic.
- Fuyunagi Shizuku (冬柳 雫) — Fuyunagi Shizuku is a stunning black-haired high school beauty with a mature, graceful aura. Her long, silky hair, elegant posture, pure and innocent atmosphere, and impressive figure—including her large chest—give her an appearance so gentle and comforting that a tired working adult might instinctively want to cling to her and call her “Mama.” Her looks alone make her feel like a UR-rarity heroine. At school, she’s admired as a pure, wholesome, and almost ideal girl—popular among girls, constantly confessed to by boys, and always at the center of her class. In private, however, Shizuku reveals a selfish, bratty, and emotionally unstable side. She’s clingy, easily upset, mentally fragile, and relies heavily on her boyfriend for emotional support while demanding secrecy and setting controlling conditions in their relationship.
- Sakurada Nagisa (桜田 凪咲) — Sakurada Nagisa is a gyaru and one of the central members of Fuyunagi-san’s friend group. With light-brown hair, piercings, and perfectly applied bold eye makeup, she has a flashy style but is undeniably beautiful—cute enough to stand out even among the popular girls. Sado Kengo’s current girlfriend.
- Natsume Kano (夏芽 華乃) — The class president. A dignified, serious beauty whose pure appearance gives her a charm distinct from Fuyunagi-san. She prioritizes efficiency, logic, and rationality above all else, resulting in a rigid, no-nonsense personality that makes her unpopular with most classmates.
Sado Kengo (佐渡 健吾) — A high-spec soccer club member who once acted as Shizuku’s fake public boyfriend. He is now Sakurada Nagisa’s actual boyfriend.
- Katou Susumu (加藤 進) — The textbook “protagonist’s best friend” character. He’s a founding member of the self-proclaimed “Unpopular Men’s Club”. Although he’s extremely jealous of Takuma for landing a girlfriend like Fuyunagi—thus “betraying” the Unpopular Men’s Club (a group Takuma never actually agreed to join)—Kato remains loyal to him despite both his jealousy and the negative public opinion surrounding Takuma.
- Fuyunagi Reiko (冬柳 澪子) — Fuyunagi Shizuku’s mother.
- Fuyunagi Kanemasa (冬柳 兼政) — Fuyunagi Shizuku’s father.
